Battle Of The Bands

You are invited to participate in Colville’s 2010 Battle of the Bands. Mark your calendar now, the competition will take place on Sunday, August 8, in Yep Kanum Park, on the Main stage, beginning at 12:00 noon. As the contact person for your band, please relay this information to the other band members.

In the competition on August 8, each band will play three songs, two of which must be originals. If you decide to play a cover song for your third choice, it will need to be the first one performed during the competition. Please pay special attention when selecting the music that you will be performing - make sure that it is appropriate for families and children who will be in the audience! Enclosed is a Performance Agreement that explains this in detail, as well as the consequences for not maintaining the standards set by the committee.

In addition to being a great opportunity to perform in front of a public audience, Colville’s 2010 Battle of the Bands is offering some great prizes:
* Paid performance @ Colville’s Rendezvous in 2011
* Studio recording time @ Divine Influence Studios (Oswin Sound Tekniques)
* Gift certificates
* And more

What you need to do: Fill out Equipment Request Form, Complete & Sign Performance Agreement, include $25.00 entry fee payable to Colville Rendezvous Days, and lyrics of the songs you will perform. Submit all of the above to Steve Oswin by July 31, 2010.
